Welcome to Kennel Rödtop!

I am Marie Ekerljung and I have been a dog breeder since 1976. My family and I, are living on a dairy farm in the province of Värmland, Sweden.

Kennel Rödtop is breeding Portuguese Water Dogs for Utility and Dog Shows. The puppies are born and raised in our home. Each litter is carefully planned with nice temperament and the FCI Breed Standard in mind. A sound soul in a sound body!

There are three cornerstones in Kennel Rödtop: Health, Mentality and Portuguese bloodlines.
All dogs are fed a raw diet, which produces better hips and a stronger immune defense. Our policy is full openness regarding all health questions you may have.
We are working towards Water Dogs who possesses; Curiosity, Water Interest, Retrieving Interest and Willingness to Cooperate.

Kennel Rödtop focuses on preserving the original working Portuguese Water Dog and desires to include as many bloodlines as possible from Portugal in it's breeding program.
